Do you remember those old commercials – your brain on drugs?

Today I want to talk about your brain on meditation. Actually, your LIFE on meditation.

There are so many amazing, surprising benefits of meditation. Really, it’s unbelievable. I’m going to outline some of them here but if you’re really interested in learning more about meditation, be sure to join the FREE #powerofmeditation2019 summit on May 1st. (You can join here)

In my last newsletter I talked about how meditation helps you stay in the moment. That alone is a very cool thing. It helps you take the saying “stop and smell the roses” to a whole new level. Frequent meditation is like “stop and smell the roses and notice their vivid colors and their gentle curves, and how they lean in towards the sun, and how that’s a perfect metaphor for some aspect of your life…”

Even Western medicine is starting to pay attention to the benefits of meditation. Research has shown that meditation has been known to help with:

  • Anxiety
  • Asthma
  • Cancer
  • Chronic pain
  • Depression
  • Heart disease
  • High blood pressure
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Sleep problems
  • And tension headaches

Not only that, but they say that meditation can help prevent memory loss and addictions, extend your attention span, and help you sleep better.

We are all different. We have our own struggles and our own circumstances. But it seems fair to say that no matter who you are and what your life looks like, meditation could help make your life better.

So today, I’m calling you out, my dear community, to do two things:

Start meditating. Today, every day, for just 5 minutes. I would suggest taking brief notes so that you can see the changes that take place. What do you notice?
Attend The Power of Meditation Summit. It’s free, and if you’ve read this whole email, it’s obvious you are interested in the power that is behind meditation. Why not find out more?

Plus I will be interviewed and talk about the importance of moving meditation in order to have successful quiet meditations…

Change is right there, waiting for us. Relief, calm, surrender. I challenge you to accept it. Get your meditation on.

I hope you’re having a glorious week, full of meditation,
