I love my job. I love my life. I wish that everyone could say that, but pretty often they can’t.
I’m a big believer that the key to loving our jobs and loving our lives is taking care of ourselves. Not to sound too cliche – but enjoying the moment.
How often do you really enjoy the moment? How often do you sit in it and observe and marvel at the wonders of life?
And on the other end of things, how can we ever really be happy or joyful if we aren’t ever looking closely at the moment that we are in?We can’t enjoy life if our minds are in the past or in the future. Our current life – this moment, right now – is what we are meant to enjoy. So how do we get better at enjoying it?
There are different methods for everyone, but one tried and true method that I always return to is meditation.
Meditation, by it’s very practice, brings you into the moment. Let’s you sit there and really live it.
