My last few emails have been about festivals. This one I speak of is specifically about the Divine Feminine. Shakti Fest is coming around the corner and she (the Divine Feminine) is awaiting your return…

If you have never attended this festival or any others before you might be thinking, why is this crazy woman so obsessed?

I attend festivals, both as an entertainer and a participant, because I believe in what they are and what they do for people. There is a reason that people get addicted to festivals and the lifestyle that surrounds them. Actually, I’m going to give you three reasons. After you read these, I hope you will consider attending one. It’s truly an experience you will never forget.

Festivals make the world seem brighter.

It’s a bit like falling in love.

When you fall in love, everything seems better. The songs on the radio are singing for you. People seem to smile at you more. Things go your way. Everything is just a lighter brighter.

People are smiling at you more when you fall in love. Not because they know you are in love, but because YOU are smiling more. The world reflects your internal energy, and sometimes we don’t even notice what energy we are putting out into the world.

Festivals have a way of reorganizing our priorities. I have reexamined my life after a festival only to come to the realization that a large chunk of my time is spent stressing about issues that are beyond my control and worse still, that I don’t even really care about when I stop to think about it. It’s because when you are there, at the festival, you are living in the moment of what is happening. You are with beautiful people, experiencing life and experiencing yourself, and nothing else matters.

When you leave, you are a bit in love. You are in love with yourself, with the people that you met, with the experience that you had and with the feeling that you left with. You smile more. People smile at you more. And the world is a little bit brighter.

Festivals build community.

How often do you spend a day without talking to someone? I don’t mean casual chit chat, I mean really talking to someone. Talking to them in a way where you see them, inside and out. Where you feel their energy.

For most people, it’s not often.

We are busy people. We always have a mile long to do list and being human with other humans isn’t usually on that list. We are all running around, looking down at our phones, living our separate lives.

But festivals have a way of uniting us. A community of people just being real, and doing it together.

Festivals make me a more genuine person.

You may or may not have this experience for yourself (I encourage you to find out).

Because of this wonderful sense of community and this atmosphere of being in the moment, I find myself being more genuine than I can be in my day to day life.

At a festival, there is nothing that you have to be or are supposed to be. People are gathered to share ideas and experiences, to embrace one another exactly where we are at in our own journeys, and to come at each other with love.

Every time I attend a festival I can bring a little piece of that back with me, and feel like a more genuine person as a whole.

Well friends, I have just the festival…

I have a limited number of full access tickets to the Shakti Festival that include the festival experience AND camping and parking for $250. Plus, this is the creative way we are compensated as artists by selling discounted tickets – a win-win for everyone. Support the artists of the festival and save money on your life-altering experience!

If you’re interested, Venmo @Hemalayaa-Behl and then we will send you a code.

Just a quick recap of the festival:

Celebrate spring and delve into the Divine Feminine Energy at Shakti Fest, May 9-13 in Joshua Tree, CA. There will be an incredible line-up of sacred music on two stages, premiere yoga classes and conscious workshops.

I hope that you can join me.

Love,
Hemalayaa
PS – Email me back if you don’t have Venmo, and are interested in the tickets…
