Today I’d like to talk about sex trafficking.

Whew. Heavy lead in.

This is serious! I want to talk about preventing sex trafficking. Are you in?

According to dosomething.org, “It’s estimated that internationally there are between 20 million and 40 million people in modern slavery today.”

Holy shit that’s a sad thing to hear.

I was shocked when I first heard the statistics and stories of women who are victims of sex trafficking. Then, I was mad. I felt a fire inside of me that wouldn’t go out. I wanted to DO something about this.

That’s when I decided to team up with The Pain Free Project

Have you heard of them? If not, you’re about to. So sit your butt down and get ready to be blown away.

The Pain Free Project is a San Diego-based nonprofit that works hard to provide natural healthcare for survivors of sex trafficking. They connect survivors to acupuncture, massage, chiropractic, nutritional and other natural healthcare services that are FREE and trauma-informed.

HOW COOL IS THAT?

I’ve been in the midst of a partnership with The Pain Free Project for awhile now, and it still blows me away every time I hear about the powerful work they are doing. Their vision is to create a world where no survivor heals alone. No matter who you are or what your experience as a woman has been, that is MOVING. Because we all know the power of community. We all know the power of love and support, and where we would be if we didn’t have it.

I am partnering with The Pain Free Project to bring ourselves and our community to a higher level of alignment. A higher level of awareness, support, and sisterhood (sisters, UNITE!)

Will you help me take a stand against sex trafficking?

Will you stand up to make an impact on your community in a BIG way?

This year for the Embody Immersion Event, as a collective, we are doing a Give back: We are paying it forward to support survivors of international sex trafficking. A portion of each ticket purchased will go towards this noble cause as well as a portion of the profits from the event.

Help support us ladies.

And in turn, help support other ladies who NEED YOUR HELP.

They need a community, and we are going to be that community. This is a real opportunity to make a difference.

Join us in San Diego.

Tell all of your friends in San Diego (and the friends that aren’t in San Diego – just tell everyone!)
