Jet lag is one of those things that always catches you by surprise. Somehow, every single time, you think you’re going to be able to avoid it. In my mind it’s like some myth or legend that not-so-fun people made up to frighten adventurous people out of their travel plans.

But it’s a real thing. A very real thing.

Maybe it’s life’s way of telling us we need to relax. It’s a little reminder saying,

Hey… you. Before you jump right into your everyday schedule, why don’t you relax for a bit?

Or at least that’s how I like to look at it. I often find that I would jump right back into my everyday schedule if it wasn’t for jet lag slowing me down and sometimes, I’m thankful.

We are all busy. These days, it takes a lot for us to spend a day in bed, or on the couch watching movies, without guilt. Maybe jet lag is just what we need.

In the same way that jet lag can be a reminder to slow down, so can the experience of a festival.

How, you ask?

Attending a festival is truly an experience. I don’t want to sound too bold saying it’s a “life-altering experience” – but it IS.

You know when you do something new, or go to a new country, and you get that feeling that just stays with you, deep in your heart, long after it’s over? It makes it impossible to jump right back into your normal everyday routine (just like with jet lag) because you keep thinking about it… and somehow, everything in your life has changed a little bit because of it. It makes you re-examine what is important to you and how you are spending your time. It makes you a little bit happier and a little more carefree.

Have you had that experience before? Don’t you WANT it again? Even writing this is making me lust for that feeling. It’s not really a mindset you can just shift yourself into, it takes a powerful experience to put you there.

Well friends, I have just the experience.

As I mentioned last week. I have a limited number of full access tickets to the Shakti Festival that include the festival experience AND camping and parking for $250. Plus, this is the creative way we are compensated as artists by selling discounted tickets – a win-win for everyone. Support the artists of the festival and save money on your life-altering experience!

If you’re interested, Venmo @Hemalayaa-Behl and then we will send you a code.

Just a quick recap of the festival:

Celebrate spring and delve into the Divine Feminine Energy at Shakti Fest, May 9-13 in Joshua Tree, CA. There will be an incredible line-up of sacred music on two stages, premiere yoga classes and conscious workshops.

I hope that you can join me.

Love,
